Jim is an extraordinary person and an example that long term positive change can happen with the right help and services around you.

Jim experienced homelessness in his life as a result of a long term addiction to drugs. Jim is in recovery now and has a completely new, different life. Jim now works for the Simon Community Scotland as part of the Street Team where he now helps people experiencing street homelessness. As Jim has experienced similar issues to people currently experiencing life on the street, he knows exactly what needs to be done - from what services should do, to what type of support people should be receiving. The Street Team has become a huge part of his life.
