A number of Glasgow partners including local charities, Glasgow City Council and local businesses are working together to bring you Street Change Glasgow. With your help, we can change lives.

CHANGING PERCEPTIONS AND LIVES THROUGH ALTERNATIVE GIVING
Street Change Glasgow is Glasgow’s Alternative Giving initiative to prevent begging, rough sleeping and homelessness. It’s a citywide response and the first of its kind in Scotland - providing a quick and simple way for people to donate - via our QR codes and Just Giving page.
Launched by Simon Community Scotland, Street Change Glasgow has been created in partnership with Glasgow City Mission, The Marie Trust, Lodging House Mission, the Glasgow City Council’s Begging Strategy, industry, as well as those with lived experience of begging and rough sleeping. All partners are working towards one common goal…. Street Change! We believe that by working together we can achieve more.
In order to combat the causes and effects of begging and rough sleeping, we need to think differently and provide a platform for people to give differently. By working together we can develop creative solutions, and deliver support and opportunities to those who need it most.

Your generous donations to Street Change Glasgow have so far raised over £13,000 - thank you!
Funds have been used to assist people with emergency food, utility bills, items to help make someone’s house a home, to pay for travel to appointments and to buy clothes to help increase people’s confidence. Your donations really help allow those in crisis not to need to beg.
DONATIONS
Your donations go into a central pot, which can be accessed rapidly by frontline support workers in Glasgow to assist people who are begging or rough sleeping, without delay.
By assessing the person’s individual needs, frontline workers can intervene quickly and utilise the money effectively - supporting positive, long term change in their life! We are here to help and help now.
